How to Measure Your Bed for the Correct Mattress Size
Choosing the right mattress size is important so it fits perfectly in your bed frame. The best way to find the correct mattress size is to measure your bed frame, not your old mattress. Follow the simple steps below before placing your order with Total Comfort.
Get a Measuring Tape
- A measuring tape
- A pen or phone to note measurements
- Someone to help hold the tape (optional)
Tip: Always measure in centimeters for better accuracy.
Measure the Inside Width of the Bed Frame
- Place the measuring tape inside the bed frame.
- Measure from one inner side to the other inner side.
- This measurement is the width of your mattress.
Example: If the width is 160 cm, you need a 160 cm wide mattress.
Measure the Inside Length of the Bed Frame
- Place the tape from the inside top edge to the inside bottom edge.
- Keep the tape straight across the bed base.
- This measurement is the length of your mattress.
